Jake Bugg's Lightning Bolt inspires me because of the style it is filmed. I believe that the visuals match the audio very well as the song is in a 60s/70s folk and country genre, I think the song and video is heavily influenced by Bob Dylan.

I also like the way the video features lots of different locations and random shots of the town. I feel inspired by this music video because the concept is very similar to my own with Jake Bugg on a journey. I am thinking about using some random shots of my town because I can seed it is very effective in establishing the location and letting the audience see places that are familiar to them, which would establish a connection between the artist and the audience. The changing of colour to black and white shows intertextuality between Bob Dylan and Jake Bugg.
